    • Abstract:
      The D-amino acid oxidase was detected in a number of rabbit organs. It has been shown that the enzyme has broad substrate specificity. Out of 7 D-amino acids studied, the D-alanine, D-tyrosine and D-arginine amino acids were more intensively deaminated. The effects of a number of heavy metal ions (Ni2+,Fe2+,Cu2+ , Zn2+,Cd2+, Co2+) on the D-amino acid oxidase activity of the liver, kidneys and brain were studied. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      В некоторых органах кролика выявлена D-аминокислотная оксидаза. Показано, что фермент имеет широкую субстратную специфичность. Из исследованных 7-ми D-аминокислот более интенсивно дезаминировались D-аланин, D-тирозин и D-аргинин.
