    • Abstract:
Eating Disorder Behavior Checklist is designed to measure binge eating and purging (vomiting, laxative misuse) via ecological momentary assessment (EMA). "Participants are instructed to record bulimic behaviors immediately after they occur in real time and to indicate in response to semi-random prompts whether any behaviors have occurred since the last recording..Participants are instructed that binge eating refers to consuming 'an amount of food that you consider excessive or an amount of food that other people would consider excessive, with an associated loss of control or the feeling of being driven or compelled to keep eating'" (p. 32).
